Andrea quickly moved into recruitment management positions, applying his skills to ever-more senior profiles. He then took the opportunity to manage the entire digital practice, picking up invaluable recruitment strategies and market know-how over two successful years.
When the natural next step came in July 2022, Andrea joined Page Executive to flex his executive search muscles with a great deal of autonomy. His recruitment know-how, combined with his management experience, gives him a unique perspective that facilitates communication with clients. At 55 years old, Mary continues to be relevant, cutting edge and a true disruptor. In response to the advertising industry outcry over the lack of transparency in the programmatic media space, in 2016 Mary co-founded one of the most disruptive adtech business – Truth Media. Unfortunately, the timing of Truth was too early to succeed, and the industry and their clients continue to grapple with the issues of what are the benefits of adtech, to consumers and brands? However, she has been instrumental in fire-starting those open conversations between media owners, adtech providers, agencies and clients.
Over the last twelve months she has become a founding Board member of the Internet Commission, where she has helped develop both a Digital Accountability Framework and Dialogue of Digital Responsibility placing transparency reporting (specifically relating to social media platforms) at the heart of a more informed debate about digital development. Inspired by the UN Agenda for Sustainable Development the Internet Commissions 2018 dialogue explored what values might inform a better direction for digital development and the direction of travel for future regulation.
Mary started in advertising sales on Fleet Street in the late 80's, at the very dawn of desktop publishing and she has been part of the digital revolution ever since. She continues to guide several of the world’s largest brands’ engagement with the disruptive and evolving world of digital, including, IBM, Nestle, Sage, HSBC and Mazda amongst others. Mary operates as an interim CEO, management consultant, growth hacker, and is a sort after industry speaker, writer, business mentor and coach. Mary is Global Ambassador for British Interactive Media Association, Board member of TLA’s Women in Tech, is a Board advisor to the Internet Commission and a respected Chair and NED. In February 2018 Mary opened The London Stock Exchange, one of the first women to do so.
Gianluca Armando is the Global Director for Brand Integration and Marketing at Expedia Group Media Solutions, where he leads commercial creative advertising partnerships and implements global marketing campaigns. He began his career in the hotel industry and then moved to Expedia Group as an intern. Since then, he has accumulated extensive international experience, having worked in Italy, Spain, Australia, Singapore, and the UK. Gianluca holds a master’s degree in tourism management and economics from Ca' Foscari University in Venice. He currently resides in London with his family.
